that’s awesome…hard to find someone that took the time to record this “blog”, especially for a band that’s virtually unheard of…man, i’ve been trying to find some die.radio.die stuff for years, i accidentally came upon this post of yours one night…i used to listen to these guys way back in the day (like atleast 6 years ago) when i frequented http://www.purevolume.com and drew inspiration for my own band from the different independent acts out there….anywas, i’m not sure if you’ll get this comment, seeing as how you probably made this post a long time ago…i’d really appreciate it if you could rip the songs you have and send them to me…after searching randomly for years, all i can come up with is lyrics for songs of theirs…THANKS A TON!

I loved these guys. back in 2000-2003 we use to see them on and off here in arizona. I still have their EP and it always brings me back to the early 2000’s.

Hey. I don’t really remember being mean to you, but, I’m sorry you feel that way and you certainly have freedom of speech! That was a long time ago. We are all different and more mature by now (I would hope). Anyway, just a note, Chad and I broke up a couple of years ago and are both in serious relationships with other people. I hear now that he is engaged to his current girl and wish him all the best. :)

“I’m sorry you feel that way” isn’t an apology, if it was meant to be one. I stand by what I said.

It seams that eventhough you have good taste in music you are not a very nice person. If you actually new Moriah you would know she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out and does not deserve judgement from you. Back to the point DieRadioDie was a very good band and alot of fun to watch.

DRD was a great band. I’m Chad’s older brother. I was in the Navy when the band was doing well. I remember going to every show when I was in town. I was very proud of Chad and the band. I miss the music that they made and performed. I used to scream for them to play the Chase at every show. Even though the band is no longer together they are all still playing and writing music. Chad and Kevin are in the Austin James Band with Chip and Nick Knectel(spelling is questionable) of Biola. Chris has a band in Seattle. People change and the chemistry that brings a band together isn’t always strong enough to keep a band together. Chad is growing musically in a way that he just couldn’t in DRD. While I wish DRD was still performing, the new music of the Austin James Band is just as good if not better. Thank you for the stroll down memory lane.

Wow, nice blog. DRD is still a one of my favorite bands today. The music flows through me in such a way it’s Indescribable. A friend of mine gave me a compilation of several bands she thought I would like, this was back in 2002/2003ish. DRD was my favorite and I remember playing the songs everyday. Although I never saw them at a show or heard of them before this, they easily became a favorite in my collection of music. Two years later the CD was stolen or lost. So I’m always checking around the internet for another taste of DRD. It’s good to hear these songs again. Thanks for the history behind the band too.

I posted that piratebay torrent. I couldn’t ever get anyone to help seed so I forgot about it. I’ve been listening to them for a long time. I was never fortunate enough to see them. If anyone has different tracks than I do I’d be more than willing to trade or you can have mine, if that’s ok with the former members of drd.

When I was about thirteen my brother had a CD of theirs that he got from a friend. It had four of the most amazing songs, ever.
I fell in love with Dieradiodie, but have never been able to find the online except for now.
    They’re truly amazing.

DRD doesn’t mind. I’m going to make a page with all their songs on it soon.

I think I was at this show. I can’t believe they still have a little cult following. You know where the band members are today?

I know where everyone is. I talk about it in the episode. Of course I wrote the episode almost three years ago, so there’s been a few changes.

I really wish to find the newer, more relaxed, version of Life is Beautiful. I’ve looked for it for years but have never been able to find it.
